Cemetery Restoration Project

Museum Educator, Heidi Howlett, will share the story of the ongoing restoration project at Geneva’s West Side Cemetery. Heidi received training from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources on how to restore and repair headstones. She will tell the tales and mysteries that she and a group of dedicated volunteers have experienced while they have restored more than 180 headstones.

This program is one of a series of Monthly Programs offered at noon on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May (Note: programs are not offered in December or January). DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS refreshments will not be provided and please do not bring food. Thank you!
